THE RADEBERGER LIQUEUR FACTORY

For 140 years, the Radeberger liqueur factory has had its headquarters in the heart of Radeberg’s old town, just outside the gates of the Saxon state capital of Dresden. The traditional herbal liqueur is still produced here at the original distillery to this day. Visitors and guests are very welcome!

RADEBERGER HERBAL LIQUEUR SINCE 1877

In the small town of Radeberg near Dresden, Wilhelm Richter founded the “Golden Sun Steam Distillery and Liqueur Factory” in 1877. This is where Richter created a “medicinal bitter” of the very best quality, the recipe for which he worked on meticulously for a long time. The new product quickly became a success and with the appointment as purveyor of the Royal Saxon Court, the “Golden Sun” finally became a byword for quality and well-being.
